Invite to FIAP Academy Online Lecture by Cathal McNaughton

FIAP Photo Academy Online Events invites you to attend the Free presentation 'Reflection with Cathal McNaughton' on Thursday 23rd November 2023 at 19:00.

Cathal McNaughton is an multi-award-winning photojournalist currently based between Ireland and Germany.

In 2018 he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the Rohingya refugee crisis in Myanmar and Bangladesh. Now working for EPA Images as a Managing Editor he was previously chief photographer for Reuters in India and has travelled extensively documenting stories of world importance, most recently in Ukraine.

During this presentation we will look at images spanning a 25 year career documenting the best and worst of humanity. Cathal will give an insight into the emotional strain and sacrifices that need to be made in order to become a leading photojournalist.
