The PAGB Awards Adjudication on 26th and 27th April 2025 is being hosted by the Scottish Photographic Federation at Dunblane, with applicants from all over the UK, at all levels being adjudicated, including 8 MPAGB Applicants. Anyone interested in coming along to view this Adjudication is welcome.
Tickets for both the Saturday and the Sunday are available to purchase at £10 which includes Tea/Coffee throughout the day. Tickets are now available to purchase from the following options –

This time the Lecture being presented by the FIAP Photo Academy Online Events features one of our own Scottish photographers Landscape Photography My Way with Peter Paterson MFIAP FRPS MPAGB is on Thursday 01 May 2025 at 7pm. To register to attend (click here)
Join FIAP for this FREE event, a presentation by the Scottish Photographer Peter Paterson who will speak with us about his wonderful landscape images. Peter has been taking photographs for over 50 years, starting mostly in Monochrome which he processed in the darkroom. During this time, he gained the Fellowship distinction from the Royal Photographic Society and also gained the MFIAP award and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain Masters Distinction MPAGB. Peter’s main subject interests are Landscape, Still Life and Abstract, both in colour and mono using Sony Digital Cameras.
He exhibits his photographs Nationally and Internationally in various Photo Salons around the world. He has had photographs published in many publications, including Digital Photo Magazine, Photography Monthly, Digital SLR Photography, FPME, Creative Mono Yearbook, Guide to Great Photography, The Landscape Photographer of the Yearbook collection 01, 02, 09 and 15.
He is a member of Stirling Camera Club and Hon life member of Edinburgh Photographic Society. He is also a member of the Scottish Photographic Federation of which he is a past President. Peter’s presentation will show landscape images from Scotland and other places that he has visited over the years.

We are a non-profitmaking network of almost 100 clubs and societies from Thurso in the north to Dumfries in the south and all areas in between. The sizes and involvement of each club within the SPF varies widely.
Founded in 1903, our remit is to promote the art and science of photography through interaction. To this end, the SPF Executive Committee organises a diary of events annually, mainly in the form of competitions and workshops, which our Clubs and their Members can participate in. The SPF also organises or co-ordinates entries to other events nationally or internationally on behalf of our members. We also maintain a mailing list and supply various services, including our e-newsletter the 'e-flash', and SPF Directory which contains all SPF Clubs and our SPF Judge’s & Lecturer’s list.
Through our SPF membership, comes affiliation of the PAGB. This gives access to the Club network throughout the whole of the UK. Through this affiliation comes other benefits including competitive Insurance arrangements for Camera Clubs, exclusive to the PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain) network, which you can take advantage of as an affiliated SPF club. In addition to this UK membership; as a member Club of the SPF, you and your members also automatically become members of FIAP (Federation Internationale de l'art Photographique) which is a worldwide organisation, currently based in Luxembourg.
