The SPF e-flash newsletter is designed to keep all of our Clubs and their members up to date with what is going on in Scottish Photography. It's not just for Club Committee members, it's designed to have something for everyone.
This e-newsletter is exclusive to Scottish Photographic Federation Clubs. You must be a member of an SPF Club to get a copy sent by us. From time to time offers exclusive to SPF Club members will be advertised. Occasionally the e-flash will also contain personal details that cannot be displayed on an open website, or which is only relevant to our SPF Member Clubs.
Your Club Secretary is regularly sent copies of the SPF e-flash to circulate to their Club Members. Please contact them for a copy. You will also be able to subscribe (for free) for your own personal copy from the details supplied with the e-flash.
If you would like to submit an article for e-flash then please contact its Editor Rod Wheelans.
Due to Covid-19 we have taken the decision to place the most recent versions of the SPF e-flash on our website in this area so that as many Club members as possible can keep up to date with what is going on in Scotland.
We use the e-flash to pass on advanced notice of our events, or results from these events and reminders.
We pass on changes to your Conditions of Membership or Insurances, Notifications of new Judges and Lecturers.
We show you the successful photos from our recent events.
We are delighted to cover SPF member's successes of Distinctions such as PAGB, FIAP and RPS.
Individual, Club and SPF successes nationally and Internationally have all been covered in the past.
We advertise details of our own Competitions and Rules, particularly any changes to Rules or Definitions.
We also advertise PAGB Competitions, events and results from a Scottish perspective that we think you might be interested in.
Do you have a special Lecturer coming to your Club, and you would like to throw an Invitation open to other Scottish Club members to attend.
Let the e-flash Editor Rod Wheelans know if you would like to advertise your event giving as much warning as possible.
We also give general information about how Clubs or Individuals can take advantage of some of our services.
